by putting the buildings upsidedown the now take on some sort of projectile gothic-y missile feel.
the bits of red also add some visual interest--- the pull the eye down.
great piece dear chap!

There is a great flow to this image. The buildings and the abstract shape work well in drawing your eye to the entire piece and not just to one spot.
